From the reviews:

"The book is part of a new series, Advanced Topics in Science and Technology in China, that is published in English. … ‘The graduates and undergraduates whose majors are elated to software design and development will benefit much from this book. Also, other people who are interested in software architecture … ’. This may well be true, but in the largely narrative text there is hardly anything a research mathematician might find particularly interesting." (Gunther Schmidt, Zentralblatt MATH, Vol. 1152, 2009)
