Monte Carlo Simulation in Statistical Physics deals with the computer simulation of thermodynamic properties of many-body condensed-matter systems that use random numbers generated by a computer in physics and chemistry. The Monte Carlo method is used to model complex systems with many degrees of freedom. The authors provide an excellent introduction to the theory and practice of this method utilized in physics and chemistry, with many exercises and examples.
