Report of the CODATA Task Group on Chemical Thermodynamic Tables
This book gives data on the Gibbs energy, enthalpy and entropy over a range of temperatures for 68 chemical compounds of calcium, magnesium and potassium - and for 54 important auxiliary compounds. For 3 binary systems, an alloy, a molten salt mixture and an aqueous solution, these same data are given as functions of concentration. Phase diagrams also are presented. The book is the first in a new international series which will contain critically evaluated, thermodynamically consistent data with full documentation for the formation properties and thermal functions for a wide range of substances along with predicted reliabilities. The data enable the user to predict the enthalpy of reaction and equilibrium constant and their reliabilities for any process involving substances in the table at any temperature from Ok to 4000k.
