The religious evolution of Rus has been an on-going discussion since it first emerged as a field of study in the nineteenth century. These volumes bring to light – for a wider readership – cutting edge research on the religious culture and politics of Rus, embracing interdisciplinary approaches to the early production of Slavonic texts during and immediately after Christianisation.
