The first part of the volume contains three overview articles on the media of radio, film and theater for children and young people, as well as a contribution on the conception and development of the online portal. In the second part, 18 selected media alliances are presented.
This book is a translation of the original German 1st edition Deutschsprachige Kinder- und Jugendliteratur im Medienverbund 1900-1945 edited by Petra Josting, Marlene Antonia Illies, Matthias Preis & Annemarie Weber, published by J.B.Metzler, part of Springer Nature in 2020. The translation was done with the help of artificial intelligence (machine translation bythe service DeepL.com). A subsequent human revision was done primarily in terms of content, so that the book will read stylistically differently from a conventional translation. Springer Nature works continuously to further the development of tools for the production of books and on the related technologies to support the authors.
