Das Konzept »Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion« (»Vielfalt, Gleichstellung und Inklusion«) nimmt für sich in Anspruch, bestehende Ungerechtigkeiten in Politik, Gesellschaft, Wirtschaft und Kirche zu beseitigen. Die katholische Soziallehre teilt das Ziel, formuliert aber gewichtige Rückfragen. Dieser Band dokumentiert die Beiträge des 16. Deutsch-Amerikanischen Kolloquiums vom Juli 2022, welches die Problematik interdisziplinär unter Beteiligung namhafter Fachvertreter aus beiden Ländern diskutiert wurde.
»Identity and the Tradition of Catholic Social Thought: Understanding “Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion”«: The concept of “Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion” pretends to eliminate existing injustices in politics, society, the economy and within the Church. Catholic social teaching shares this goal but raises certain objetions. This volume documents the contributions of the 16th German-American Colloquium of July 2022, which discussed the problem in an interdisciplinary way with the participation of renowned experts from both countries.
