The criteria are elaborated as to how the German Contract Law is to be applied to a Smart Contract in the context of the Blockchain. In detail, all aspects of the technical process are considered and, based on this, the legal classification into declarations of intent with special focus of attribution, offer, acceptance, issue, receipt, interpretation and form is carried out.
