The 7th edition of DIN Handbook 140 is an up-to-date reference work containing a total of 65 currently valid basic and dimensional standards on nuts, such as hexagon nuts, square nuts, castle nuts, cap nuts, prevailing torque type nuts, weld nuts, knurled nuts and miscellaneous nuts (e.g. wing nuts, slotted round nuts). Compared to the 6th edition of DIN Handbook 140, three standards are included for the first time. 32 standards have been revised for this edition. The handbook forms part of a series of six compilations in English dealing with fasteners.
