To provide a better overview of subjects, DIN Handbook 403 has now been published in two Volumes. Volume 1 deals exclusively with pipeline engineering, while Volume 2 covers aspects of pressure vessel and piping technology. DIN Handbook 403/2 contains 18 standards dealing with flat products, castings, forgings and other steel products for pressure purposes, including ten revisions. It also contains the full texts of the Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC and its amendment, Regulation 1882/03. A comprehensive index gives users a practical overview of the entire series and provides the titles of further quality standards on steel products, as well as cross-references to the standards included in DIN Handbook 28 (on dimensional standards) and references to equivalent ISO and IEC Standards.
