The fifth edition of DIN Handbook 402 contains 32 standards on iron and steel, dealing with structural steelwork, building and metalwork technology. There are six new additions to the Handbook and six revisions, reflecting new technological developments since the "first generation" European Standards were issued.A comprehensive index gives users a practical overview of the entire series and provides the titles of further quality standards on steel products, as well as cross-references to the standards included in DIN Handbook 28 (on dimensional standards) and references to equivalent ISO and IEC Standards.
