Beschreibung

The fifth edition of DIN Handbook 401 contains 40 standards on iron and steel, dealing with terminology, material designations, general technical delivery conditions, steel castings and forgings, surface quality, sample preparation and inspection documents. There are eight new additions to the Handbook (DIN EN 473, DIN EN 10079, DIN EN 10228 Parts 1 to 4, DIN EN 10256 and DIN EN ISO 11970) and one revision (DIN EN 10021), reflecting new technological developments since the "first generation" European Standards were issued. A comprehensive index gives users a practical overview of the entire series and provides the titles of further quality standards on steel products, as well as cross-references to the standards included in DIN Handbook 28 (on dimensional standards) and references to equivalent ISO and IEC Standards.
