The artist Petra Schmiedecke lives and works as a freelance artist in Oldenburg, Northern Germany.
Her central medium is painting - a space in which she intuitively interweaves color, form and line and repositions herself with each work.
For her, the creative process begins in the moment: a conscious pause, a return to “zero”, where movement arises from stillness. Her works reflect inner and collective transformation processes - visual resonance spaces between structure and openness, in-between space and presence.
