Prolonged exposure to stress is a serious condition that can increase the risk of chronic illness and disease. The problem is limited access to evidence-based complementary and alternative medicines stress-reduction therapies. There is limited accessibility to evidence-based complementary and alternative therapies. Furthermore, there is limited access to health interventions that provide evidence-based complementary and alternative therapies for free public use. This project aims to create a free online handbook that includes information on best practice complementary and alternative therapies that reduce stress and promote health.
By making this handbook freely available online, the project aims to remove the barriers that limit access to stress-reduction therapies, such as financial constraints, geographic location, and lack of professional guidance.
