Based on three distinctions, Patrick Hilbert develops a juridical Systemdenken which applies 'the' concept of system in different ways to the law and to jurisprudence. In doing so, he respects the differences between the rather formal legal system and rather material jurisprudential systems, scrutinizes their peculiarities and illustrates their partial correlations.
