Armin von Bogdandy re-interprets the provisions of the German constitution governing law-making. This re-interpretation is based on a comparative analysis of the legal systems in France, Italy, Spain and the UK, as well as on the inclusion of political science and legal philosophy. Governmental bodies are at the centre of the law-making process. The role of parliaments and representatives of society is analyzed from this viewpoint.
