The essays in this volume compare the structures of law and games. Apart from the legal viewpoint, the authors examine law and games from the perspectives of philosophy, sociology, anthropology, educational science, psychoanalysis, cultural theory and aesthetics, and it is this interdisciplinary approach which illuminates the many facets of the comparison and which links legal science to theoretical discussions in other scientific branches.
