The term 'intellectual property' has been popular in Germany for the last 10 years. In spite of this, the term has aroused some animosity among those who claim that it blurs the differences between tangible property and intangible property rights. Is intellectual property a subjective right or a theory which describes the reason for the validity of a subjective right?
