Different forms of energy, e.g. shock waves, high-intensity focussed ultrasound, radiofrequency, microwave, laser, cryotherapy and brachytherapy, are applied for minimal-invasive therapy in urology. The actual significance of these procedures were reviewed and discussed by experts within a consensus meeting. This book includes these reviews together with the consensus standards concerning the therapeutic energy application.
