Historical reenactments, so it seems, not only allow us to physically experience and thus understand history but also make it widely disseminable. How can we study this phenomenon? What terms, concepts, and methods are available? By looking at case studies from the US, Poland, and Germany, and by taking different disciplinary perspectives, this volume provides insights into the wide range of current research approaches.
