In recent years, Holocaust research has been supplemented by new “comparative post-colonial” approaches, with scholars claiming that the histories of colonialism and National Socialism were closely linked, both historically and ideologically. In his study, Steffen Klävers analyzes the heuristic potential of selected examples of this perspective and critically examines its argumentation and methodology.
