Little quantitative research has been conducted in Germany concerning the financial literacy of secondary school students. This study addresses the content-based measurement of financial competency with the aim of analyzing students’ knowledge of how to manage debt, savings, insurance, and taxes, conduct financial transactions, and make decisions in monetary matters.
