Beschreibung

The Dictionary of Old High German will comprise ten volumes, and has been published in installments since 1952 by the Saxon Academy of Sciences in Leipzig. After the death of Karg-Gasterstädt and Frings, it was edited by Rudolf Große from 1968 to 2002, and later continued by Gotthard Lerchner. Since Installment V/15, the Dictionary has been edited by Hans Ulrich Schmid.
