Only a few works on medical theory are extant in 14^th-century Old French. This book includes a partial edition and translation along with historical, dialectological, and source-analytic studies about an anonymous treatise on fever written after 1300 in Hebrew characters in eastern France. The medical vocabulary in Fevres is explained in glossaries that include many first-known references.
