This book explores image manipulation in science. Approaches that highlight visual practices in scholarship by referring to interdisciplinary aspects (art history, biology, computer science and design) lead to observations and outcomes. It is based on ethnographic observation at the Interdisciplinary Laboratory Image Knowledge Gestaltung at Humboldt-University Berlin.
