Audrie is a British Contemporary artist, based in Manchester UK.
Audrie paints with acrylic on Canvas or wood primarily. She is enthusiastic about colour form and subtle motion, this is evident in her vibrant and colourful abstract compositions. She has recently worked on a series of individual furniture pieces as part of her Art on Antiques project, which is a multidisciplinary series of artwork directly onto the wooden furniture piece, installation in the living environment and photography, to produce limited edition prints. However, Audrie also draws and drawing is often the starting point for her figurative compositions.
As a child, Audrie loved art and would regularly grab a pen or pencil and paper, to randomly draw family members. She added advanced art and photography to her studies at school. Audrie attended Central High school for Girls, Manchester and studied for a landscape architecture degree at Gloucestershire University. Then gained a postgraduate diploma at Leeds Metropolitan University.
