The main content of my work deals with distorted, bent, merging, disappearing and unrealistic
representations of bodies in unreal spaces or natural landscapes. Proportions and correctness
play a subordinate role. The focus is on unrealistic and mystical creations. In my opinion, reality
can be captured technologically better than ever before. Therefore, painting for me is a playground
of unlimited imagination. The figure or figures in the center of the painting thus appear
isolated and at the same time very present and shining. However, the backgrounds now develop
more in the direction of nature images. The nature effect brings a nice additional component:
the mood. The human anatomy and especially the musculoskeletal structure are a very important
part of my work and fascinate me enormously. My inspirations I find therefore mostly in the
human being itself. The human being is the center of my art. Women, men, young people and
children are portrayed. Rarely only animals, a component that is still developing. The figures
mostly show themselves in their natural garb, i.e. naked, whereby genitals are often covered
and should not attract the focus of the viewer. The reason for the naked depictions is the expression
of absolute honesty. The beauty of body aesthetics should not be removed by clothing.
More and more I use strong colors to create additional beautiful moods. Often, I go one step
further and show muscle fibers and bones next to ordinary bodies.
