Irena Tone and Ros Kozhman - creators of #inrelationshipwithoffice, a unique series of pain- tings and sculptures reflecting the modern social aspect, the new stage of the communication between human and office work.
In their artworks, Irena and Ros are trying to understand the phenomenon of office life. Why do we think we are spending our lives on the right things? Why do we put on suits every day, inter- act with technology instead of people and create something illusory in huge buildings of glass and metal? Does that make sense? And, if so, is it worth our life? So many questions without answers.
The office takes 11 hours per day, 55 hours per week, 2970 hours per year. It is 50% of all our lives and 70% of our wakefulness. Just imagine. 70% - it is more than with family, more than with friends and more than with your loved one. Not surprisingly, we are in a relationship with office work.
There is much more life than fiction in every single story. Some paintings and sculptures show the usual things happen every day, but let‘s see the sense, and this ‘usual‘ will never seem normal again...
