The artist Axel Becker was born on 15 December 1965 in Frankfurt / Main. He has a degree in business administration and has been active as an artist for over 20 years. In the summer of 2018, Axel Becker worked as a master student of the well-known art professor and sculptor Josip Diminić, and worked in his studios in Labin and Diminići. His works have been exhibited nationally and internationally (Germany, Italy, Croatia, Slovenia). Axel Becker is a member of the Württembergischer Kunstverein in Stuttgart.
Axel Becker developed his personal signature with mostly three-dimensional pictures in minima- list style. He wants to set an effective contrast to the information overloaded world. The images bring the observer back to a few memorable objects that focus the viewer‘s gaze on the indivi- dual work of art. His art is an effective contrast to today‘s information overload. Simple, clear and artistically demanding. He also creates sculptures made of plastic, ceramics and bronze. He received the 3rd award in 2019 as part of the International Competition of Art Fair Zagreb. Axel Becker has qualified to participate in the Biennale in Florence in 2021.
