The certainty of one‘s own imagination, the perfection of thoughts, the stimulation of the imagi- nation of the individual - all of this is reflected in the works of Meng Xi Hauenstein.
A force from the inside that drives her to put many types of acrylic / oil painting into practice, to stimulate the viewer‘s fantasies, and to acquire knowledge that she acquired at an early age and which she had already acquired and perfected in her Chinese homeland.
Meng Xi Hauenstein has loved painting since childhood and after graduating from high school she studied the subject of free painting and ink painting with her mentor Prof Wei Manfei and at the beginning of the 90s she was a master, a scholarship holder for Chinese painting.
In 1993 she went to Germany, where she later continued her studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Nuremberg - study of Western painting. Her works are conceived with magical ideas, to control her experience, her ability to paint and her incomparable connection with the western style of painting, color and ink as well as to look into the eastern element of her work.
She has developed her own style that is unique. With her exceptional talent, the artist has atten- ded ART CAPITAL 2019, numerous national and international exhibitions as well as the special exhibition at the Kunsthaus Nürnberg, the SWISSARTEXPO in Zurich and ART BASEL in Miami, where she became a semi-finalist, as well as the 7th Oil Painting Biennale of Lishui, China in Paris, where she was awarded the main prize / acrylic painting. Her artworks are collected by several important institutions and art lovers.
Meng Xi Hauenstein is a member of the Deggendorf Art Association and member of the Today Net Painting Institute in China.
