F I 7 1 came about in October 2017.
For years I had been signing my paintings steadily with my sobriquet F I F I, through without the digits 71 - but with maintaining pronunciation. These digits represent the year my mother was born - 1971. I was born on 5th August 1992, in Germany, at that time my parents had already emigrated from Hungary for three years. As early as a child my father inspired me to paint, because of art being a great passion for him. I always processed my experiences through my very own art. 2012 my mother and I moved to Switzerland due to her work. In spring of 2016 my mother received the diagnosis terminal cancer. Thereupon six long months followed with chemotherapy and numerous surgeries. Then the miraculous news: no tumor. But this was a misdiagnosis. In spring of 2017 my mother died. To process all of this I transform my art into my therapy.
