For construction drawings (technical drawings), which are based on the ISO GPS standards introduced worldwide today, the rules, concepts and principles laid down in ISO 8015:2011 apply as standard (i.e. without special agreement).
The drawing examples created in this module show the basic structure of production drawings. All drawings are function-related, based on ISO GPS standards. Each example drawing is preceded by a functional sketch.
Various elements of the ISO GPS entries contained in the sample drawings are explained in more detail. Other topics covered in the extract from the standard are also covered. The example drawings were created with CAD.
