From 2004 to 2019 I was allowed to participate in the project of the Super Constellation Flyers Association as a photographer and Maître de Cabine. I saw the "Camarillo-Connie" in California and later flew it as "Star of Switzerland" from Bern, Geneva, Basel and Hamburg. The flights with this relic from a bygone era of aviation were something incredibly. If your heart beats for aviation and you get the opportunity to fly with a Connie in the Swiss Alps then you feel surreal close to the sky. Just great and fascinating! I have packed this enthusiasm into my book and now want to share it with all aviation enthusiasts and especially with Connie fans.

Berufslehre als Landwirt, später Flight Attendant/Maître de Cabine bei Swissair/Swiss. Autodidakt - heute selbständiger Fotograf mit eigenem Studio in Langenthal/BE (Schweiz). 2003 Gewinner Swiss Press Photo Award.
