This volume set, LNCS 17168–17169, constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 29th Iberoamerican Congress on Progress in Pattern Recognition, Image Analysis, Computer Vision, and Applications, CIARP 2026, held in Mexico City, Mexico, during November 24–27, 2026.

CIARP 2026 received 103 submissions, of which 63 papers were accepted following peer review. Of these, 57 papers completed the required registration and publication requirements and are included in these proceedings, comprising 54 full papers and 3 short papers. The proceedings also include one invited paper, resulting in a total of 58 contributions.
