Beschreibung

This book develops the Anarchon State as a new theory of sovereignty for an age of recurring crisis. It explains how contemporary states increasingly preserve authority not only by restraining disorder, but by anticipating, absorbing, and managing instability. Volume I reconstructs the political theology of the Katechon, traces the exhaustion of territorial stabilisation, and examines why established theories only partially explain the mutation of modern political form. It then defines the Anarchon State with conceptual precision and establishes a comparative method for studying its differentiated sovereign morphologies. Bringing political theory, international relations, historical sociology, postcolonial analysis, and security studies into a single framework, the volume offers an original account of crisis governance, anticipatory power, and political time. It is written for readers seeking to understand how sovereignty persists when emergency becomes recurrent, insecurity becomes infrastructural, and decisive closure is increasingly unavailable.

Dr Amir Nadeem Warraich is a political theorist and strategist whose work advances a political theory of chaos centred on one governing question: how does chaos become political form? From controlled chaos to the Anarchon State, he treats chaos not as the absence of order but as the constitutive medium through which states form, sovereignty mutates and power endures. He holds a PhD in Political Science from Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel and an M.Phil from Heidelberg University.
