Beschreibung

"By prioritising dynamic digital platforms alongside cross-cultural comparative analyses, this volume captures where today's environmental debates are at their most active. As an exceptionally up-to-date collection, it provides researchers with both immediate impact and long-lasting theoretical and methodological insights.”

 — Dimitrinka Atanasova, Lancaster University, UK

This book explores how sustainability, climate change, and environmental responsibility are framed across diverse discursive domains—including media, policy, corporate communication, tourism, activism, and social media. Drawing on cutting-edge research in ecolinguistics, discourse analysis, and environmental humanities, the book investigates how language shapes public understanding and action in the face of ecological crisis. The book features nineteen chapters originally presented at the international conference Framing Nature: Discourses of Nature and the Environment, held in Milan in November 2023. All contributions have undergone rigorous peer review and reflect the latest scholarship in environmental discourse studies.
