In this book, intelligent system design by fusion of soft computing models, such as fuzzy logic, neural networks and optimization algorithms, as well as their hybridizations are outlined. In addition, the utilization of the above-mentioned methods in application areas such as, control and robotics, pattern recognition, medical diagnosis, decision-making, time series prediction and optimization of complex problems, are presented.
