Nadeem A. Memon is an Associate Professor in the Centre for Islamic Thought and Education (CITE) in the School of Education at Adelaide University. His research focuses on teacher education with particular emphasis on Islamic Pedagogy, comparative faith-based schooling, philosophy of religious education, and culturally and religiously responsive pedagogy.


Mohamad Abdalla is Professor of Islamic Studies and Founding Director of the Centre for Islamic Thought and Education (CITE) at Adelaide University. With over twenty-five years of research in Islamic Studies, his scholarship focuses on Islamic educational philosophy, tarbiyah, Islamic intellectual history, and the role of Islam in contemporary Western contexts. He has played a leading role in advancing Islamic Studies research and academic program development across Australian universities.


Dylan Chown is a lecturer in the Centre for Islamic Thought and Education (CITE) in the School of Education at Adelaide University. His research focuses on teacher education, with particular emphasis on Islamic Pedagogy, culturally and religiously responsive pedagogy, and school renewal.
