This book reports on advances in applied technologies aimed at improving the quality of life, autonomy, and inclusion of individuals with disabilities, with a special emphasis on interdisciplinary approaches and user-centered design. It covers motor and cognitive assistive technologies, accessibility solutions, human-computer interaction, brain-computer interfaces, robotics, e-health applications, and smart environments. Further topics include the ethical and legal frameworks that support innovation in this field. Chapters present both theoretical research and practical case studies concerning the development, implementation, and evaluation of technological solutions across diverse domains related to disability.
