Cancer centers across the world serve both dense urban centers and remote rural areas including Indigenous populations. This book advances knowledge in cancer data discussions for and with Indigenous populations, academics, researchers, Nations, and institutions, as well as allies who work with Indigenous cancer data. The book discusses current prevalence, incidence, and mortality patterns across populations with overall goals of understanding and utilizing data towards cancer control. Written by international leaders in cancer research and allied fields, and Indigenous community advisory board members, the book focuses on existing and future areas in need of development related to community-based data and cancer control for and with Indigenous communities.
