Der 1964 in Berlin geborene Olaf Böhme ist seit seinem 16. Lebensjahr, als er den Blues für sich entdeckte, leidenschaftlicher Mundharmonikaspieler. Obwohl seine musikalische Heimat immer der Blues sein wird, ist Olaf stilistisch mittlerweile sehr breit aufgestellt. Immer neugierig und offen für musikalische Anregungen ist er unterwegs auf Musikerstammtischen, Sessions und in Irish Pubs. Sein Repertoire reicht von klassischem Chicago-Blues, über Bluegrass, Country, Irish Folk, bis zu Folklore, Volksliedern und Evergreens. Seine immense Songkenntnis und seine didaktischen Erfahrungen flossen in seine Mundharmonika-Lehr- und Songbücher ein. Olaf spielt in verschiedenen kleineren Formationen und wird oft als Gastmusiker eingeladen. Sein Wissen und seine spielerischen Erfahrungen gibt Olaf jährlich als Dozent auf dem Mundharmonikafestival Festival in Klingenthal weiter.
