When we launched ‘Elektronische Körpermusik’, we thought it would be a small project of the heart that primarily arose from our own need to record the history of EBM. If 100 readers were interested in it, we would have been satisfied. But what happened next exceeded all our expectations: The response from the scene was overwhelming. Hundreds of EBM fans enthusiastically picked up the book, and the feedback - be it praise or constructive criticism - touched us deeply.
The enormous demand from non-German-speaking countries was particularly surprising. Fans kept asking us for a version of the book in their language. As we cannot cover all languages, the decision was made relatively quickly to translate the book into English in order to make it accessible to an even wider audience. But the English version is more than a simple translation - it contains new stories, fresh pictures, new covers and much more.
Now that the English edition is ready, we are excited to see how the new book will be received. Our goal has always been to capture the essence of EBM and share it with the world. (we have succeeded). EBM is and will remain a global movement, and with this publication we hope to reach even more people.
