Accompanying publication to the exhibition by the artist Mirjam Baker from 2021 in the tresor at Bank Austria Kunstforum Wien in Vienna. The video work "Dust" shown there is made of twelve hand-animated sequences of vibrating colour fields - from deep purple to vibrant magenta to intensive phthalo blue. Painted in exquisitely fine-tuned pigment and animated as film, the monochrome projections, when observed, attain a nuanced three-dimensionality. An original pastel is reproduced in the book with great care from each color sequence, accompanied by an essay by Daniel Kothenschulte and a conversation that the curator Veronika Rudorfer conducted with the artist.

Jörg Jung studierte Kunstgeschichte, Soziologie und Psychologie. Seit 1985 ist er Kunstkritiker für die Kölner Zeitschrift StadtRevue und den Kölner Stadt-Anzeiger und ab 1987 Interimsleiter der Studiogalerie Morsbroich, Leverkusen.
