In recognition of their initiative in promoting Muslim-Christian dialog, the Eugen Biser Foundation on November 22, 2008 gave the Eugen Biser Award to three Muslim dignitaries. The keynote address was delivered by Federal Minister of Interior, Wolfgang Schäuble. Also included are the following texts: "A Common Word Between Us and You" of October 13, 2007" "Joint Final Declaration of the Participants in the 1st Seminar of the Catholic-Muslim Forum of November 6, 2008
