Beschreibung

The book deals with the different techniques of operative thoracoscopy in the several fields of the surgery of the lungs and pleura and of the digestive tract: diagnostic thoracoscopy, the treatment of pneumothorax and emphysema, pulmonary resection, surgery of the mediastinum and esophagus, etc. Each technique is described in detail and illustrated with diagrams and photographs of operations. Their indications and results are discussed.
