It is soon to be Christmas in the South World. It is 2041 and everyone is rejoicing at, or irritated by, the yearly Christmas frenzy. Everyone, except Katherine, who feels indifferent, as she has for many years, about Christmas Day. But this changes when she is contacted by someone, from whom she thought she would never hear again.
