Jürgen Butsmann
Jürgen Butsmann is part of the Global Business Development team for SAP S/4HANA, and is responsible for the Go-To-Market (GTM) of SAP S/4HANA in the EMEA region(s). He ensures that this new innovation is picked up by all markets units of SAP EMEA and acts as a solution evangelist with customers and partners.
In conjunction with the development organization he works on the future strategy and roadmap of SAP S/4HANA. This includes the positioning and messaging of the solution. In particular, Jürgen heads the GTM of the analytics solutions inside SAP S/4HANA (SAP S/4HANA embedded analytics) and positioning with related solutions (e.g. SAP Analytics suite and enterprise data warehousing, incl. SAP HANA and SAP BW/4HANA).
Jürgen joined SAP back in 1997 as consultant for SAP EC EIS, SAP Business Warehouse, SAP SEM, and SAP EPM. Jürgen built up business development for enterprise performance management for planning in EMEA and globally until 2007. In 2012 he took over solution ownership of SAP HANA Live and the SAP Smart Business cockpit as part of solution management of the SAP Business Suite powered by SAP HANA. He joined the business development team for SAP S/4HANA in 2016. He is based out of SAP Headquarters in Walldorf, Germany.
Jürgen studied industrial engineering and management (Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen) at the University of Karlsruhe (TH) and has a Diplom Wirtschaftsingenieur.
