I really enjoyed reading this book! It is a very welcomeaddition to the growing interest in applied and applicablequalitative research in mental health practice. It is authored by agroup of practitioners who collectively are at the forefront ofpromoting research grounded in practice, which celebrates theskills and knowledge of the practitioner, and looks to find a goodfit between research questions and design and the needs of mentalhealth practitioners and the communities they serve. The bookemphasises participatory research in which service users and carersare involved and consulted at all stages. It is accessible, easy tonavigate and, importantly, focuses on do-able research in mentalhealth settings.
