Metallenolate gehören zu einer Klasse von in jüngster Zeit viel beachteten Verbindungen, denn sie spielen eine Rolle bei der selektiven Bildung von Kohlenstoff-Kohlenstoff-Bindungen im Rahmen der Aldolreaktion. Weitere Anwendungen von Metallenolaten, wie die Bildung von Metallbeschichtungen, werden ebenfalls erläutert. Dieser Band erweitert und ergänzt den früheren Band 1, der 2009 veröffentlicht wurde.
