She alsoteaches English and directs the independent-study program at theHorace Mann School in New York City. She lives in New York City with her husband and twoparakeets. Peter Bonfanti has taught high school math in New YorkCity since 1996. Before that, he lived in Pennsylvania and was amonk. Kristin Josephson survived thecollege admissions process only to drop out of MIT 16 months laterto attend circus school in San Francisco.
