A critical and theoretical analysis of the facts of mutability, reinforced collaterally by the predicability, art, multiplicity, causality, and intelligibility of things, is carried out to show the meaning and the value of being in all things, and in the constitutive principles of their structure. Taking it in the Aristotelian sense of the highest perfection, the theoretical study in this book is the fruit of fifty years of contemplative exercise, «Bios Theoreticos,» which is known as the blissful and beatifying life. This exercise shows that human knowledge is not only a sense-intellective, but also an intellect-sensitive experience. Intellection is based on sensation. Sensation is also based on intellection. For the human being at least, they are the two sides of the same coin. They make each other possible. This study is supplemented with a historical survey and philological semantics in two consecutive chapters. The book is here published in Latin.
